Healthcare Freight Forwarder Operator Zurich (m/f/d)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented International Freight Fowarder Operator (m/f/d)  to join our team as soon as possible.

Your Future Tasks

• Independent processing and handling of shipments for pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments
• Written and verbal communication with customers, partners, shipping line and airlines
• Preparation of transport documents and ensuring that orders are placed for all mode of transports
• Shipment tracking, order entry and invoice preparation
• Network maintenance in the pharma and healthcare sector and cooperation with scheduling and warehousing
• Customer support for enquiries and complaints
• Close cost control and optimization in compliance with the planning process in the TMS planning system
• Preparation of all customs-related documents
• Customs clearance of import and export shipments in the EDEC/NCTS system knowledge is an advantage
  

What We Are Looking For

• Basic training in logistics apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• A few years of practical experience in international freight forwarding (3PL)
• Experience in managing Pharma or Healthcare product logistics is a plus
• Willingness to engage in hands-on operational work as part of daily responsibilities
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Customer-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
• Quality-oriented work and confident use of MS Office
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the principles of the EU GDP Directive (2013/C343/01) is an advantage
