Product Engineer (80-100%)

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Product Category Owner as the technical point of contact; shape product strategy and portfolio improvements to maximize customer value.
• Own requirements & concepts: elicit/write/manage specs; conceptualize products; define variants and features.
• Lead cross‑functional workstreams to ensure technical feasibility and deliver optimal solutions.
• Drive product economics: perform cost calculations and lead cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Orchestrate V&V & certification with testing, product management, and compliance; define series/production tests.
• Run design FMEA & risk management and continuously monitor product‑related risks.
• Ensure smooth design transfer by coordinating with manufacturing and quality; lead design changes through successful V&V.
• Resolve design‑related quality issues globally and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date product documentation across the lifecycle.

Who You Are

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Several years of experience in product development within interdisciplinary teams.
• In depth understanding of engineering principles across mechanics, electronics, and software domains.
• Familiarity with requirements engineering; certification is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of mechatronic product development for industrial manufacturing.
• Analytical mindset with a structured approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a big plus.
• A collaborative team player with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
