Babysitter Job in Lugano

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Babysitter / Nanny / Childminder to join our family and care for our child four days per week, starting gradually in December 2026 and continuing until July 2027.We are based in Lugano and are looking for someone warm, attentive, and trustworthy who genuinely enjoys spending meaningful time with young children. Our baby will be six months old in December, so we are hoping to find someone who is comfortable caring for infants and supporting their early developmentThe role will involve approximately 40 hours per week, typically spread over four working days with one day off.Your main focus will be caring for our child in a nurturing and engaging way — including playtime, reading, creative activities (no television), going outside for walks, and supporting daily routines such as naps and feeding. We value someone who is attentive, calm, and enjoys encouraging curiosity and development at this early stage.We would also appreciate support with light household tasks related to the home, such as tidying, cleaning, and simple cooking.We have a strong preference for someone with good English proficiency, as we would like our child to grow up exposed to the language.Above all, we are hoping to find someone dependable and kind who can become a trusted presence in our home during this important stage of our child's life.If this sounds like a good fit, we would be delighted to hear from you.
