You will work at the heart of Hilti’s global crisis resilience and security framework, supporting the ongoing evolution of a globally aligned crisis management approach, contributing to concepts and solutions that have real, enterprise-wide impact.You will also play an important role in the establishment of a new global security concept. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will gain hands-on exposure to how crisis and security topics are managed in a truly international corporate environment.
This internship position has a flexible start date and runs for 6–12 months.
What You'll do
- Support the further conceptual development and continuous improvement of Hilti’s crisis management approach, helping strengthen clarity, structure, and practical applicability across the organization.
- Contribute to increasing the impact and maturity of the rolled-out crisis concept, including elements of governance, training enablement, and operational readiness.
- Develop and refine crisis-supporting documents and tools (e.g., templates, checklists, meeting structures, logs, and response-plan building blocks) to support a consistent and effective crisis response.
- Support efforts that enable early warning, appropriate structures and procedures, and systematic evaluation/lessons learned after crises—helping improve preparedness and recovery capabilities.
- Play an active role in the establishment and enhancement of a new global security concept, supporting strategic initiatives and practical implementation considerations.
- Support travel security activities, including the development and maintenance of travel-related guidance, risk overviews, and supporting documents.
- Assist in monitoring global security developments and geopolitical risks with potential impact on business, business travel and international assignments.
- Contribute to the further development of executive protection concepts, helping ensure consistency, proportionality, and global applicability.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support a structured, risk-based approach concerning crisis and security Mgmt, as well as for travel security and executive protection.
What You’ll Bring
- University student (e.g. security studies, risk management, international relations, business, engineering)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
- Interest in crisis management, security, and global risk environments
- Very good written and spoken English; German is an advantage
