Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements. This encompasses the thorough understanding and meticulous tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management.YOUR CHALLENGE
Part of the 3rd level support for a Datalake house (platform operations)
Member of an Agile program to support change initiatives
Support Operations, Support, Maintenance, and overarching Service Lifecycle
Collaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, DevOps team, and external service providers
Act as gatekeeper for change in the platform and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)
Improve continuously the service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management
Ability to be self-sufficient and detail orientated in trouble shooting of technical platform components
Ensure proper tailoring and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the IT Service Owner and Application Engineer and coordinate the transition into test and production environments
YOUR PROFILE
5+ years of experience in projects and/or operations of IT applications and/or Data platforms
Dynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about operations, operational improvements, and automation
Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, co-ordinational and leading skills
Exposure to tools and technologies related to IT service management, Operations and Governance
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and other relevant frameworks
Experience / understanding of Data Lake / Data Lake House technology stake (Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, VMware)
Experience / understanding of Data architecture, data pipelines and data products
Proven experience in IT service management, operations, and IT governance
Relevant higher education and professional background within computer science
