Sunrise has entered the most significant infrastructure-driven commercial opportunity of the decade: the nationwide Fiber (FTTH) rollout across Switzerland (2024–2030). To fully capture this potential, Sunrise is creating a Senior Program Manager – Fiber, a single accountable leader who orchestrates the end-to-end execution of its multi-brand Fiber commercial strategy across Consumer and Business segments.
The role provides centralized steering, prioritization and cross-functional coordination, ensuring that Brand, Marketing, Sales, CVP, Technology, IT and regional teams execute a unified Fiber roadmap with maximum commercial impact.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
1. Fiber Strategy & Steering
- Execute the end-to-end FTTH commercial & operational roadmap, including risk & opportunity sizing, rollout-volume assessment, and commercial prioritization
- Define and continuously refine the brand playing field between Sunrise Main Brand (B2C & B2B/SME) and yallo to maximize multi-brand penetration across acquisition, defense and legacy access evolution
- Shape an integrated pricing strategy that reinforces Sunrise as a premium Fiber provider and positions yallo as the leading value alternative to Salt and other low-price players
- Lead the Fiber performance engine, including operational dashboards covering rollout status, targeted homes, conversions, sales and impact KPIs
2. Go-to-Market Leadership & Commercial Activation
- Own the full-funnel FTTH Go-to-Market strategy across Sunrise Main Brand (B2C & B2B/SME) and yallo, ensuring consistent execution in selected cities and regions based on rollout timing, potential and brand synergies
- Lead decision-making on Fiber-focused ATL, national vs. hyper-local communication, and optimal mix between technology-led messaging (FTTH) and area-specific network strengths (e.g., HFC)
- Execute new FTTH-specific buying journeys, including pre-order mechanisms before physical connection
- Strengthen and scale Landlords Engagement – New Buildings, enabling B2B2C activation of new households in Fiber-equipped properties
3. Program Execution – Orchestrating All GTM Modules
The Senior Program Manager ensures GTM is coordinated, sequenced and aligned across brands and regions:
- Acquisition: Local tactical plans, rollout-based activation waves, cross-sell to mobile base, DSLFTTH migration flows, campaign execution and optimization
- Cross-Sell: Identification of high-opportunity pockets (pre/post rollout, HFC vs DSL, in-contract vs OOC, WIN segments, mobile-only), creation of targeted playbooks, rollout and performance tracking
- Defense: Churn prevention campaigns (M-6 standard), optimized exclusions, re-engagement of unreached households in past rollout areas
4. Regional GTM Modules:
- Flyer distribution on eligible homes
- Outbound to mobile-only customers (shops + telesales)
- Prospect outbound (new stream to scale)
- Mobile targeting
- Landlords’ engagement
- Local promo stands / in-city presence
- ATL pilots in selected regions
- Store Agent “at-home appointment” concept development
The Program Manager ensures full visibility and alignment across Sunrise MB, yallo, and Business, coordinating regional resource deployment and ensuring all GTM actions meet rollout timing and potential.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Drive alignment across Brand, Marketing, Sales, CVP, Technology, IT, Data Analytics
- Establish a single governance structure for all Fiber-related activities, ensuring clarity of ownership and timely execution
- Provide regular updates to Executive Management on commercial performance, risks, opportunities and required decisions
YOUR SKILLS:
- 10+ years’ telco experience with significant exposure to broadband, FTTH, or large-scale commercial programs
- Strategic and analytical capabilities, combined with proven execution leadership
- Exceptional ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams and drive decisions in complex environments
- Demonstrated success in roles involving GTM planning, pricing, customer journey development, local commercial activation or technical-commercial program delivery
- German, English, fluent French is a plus
