The Position

Join an experienced and collaborative team of dedicated Global Medical Affairs Leads in Clinical Development and Medical Affairs (CDMA) at Roche Diagnostics. Work with the International Business team for Foundation Medicine ex-US on the development and commercialization of Comprehensive Genomic Profiling and molecular diagnostics solutions in oncology and hematology. The Opportunity

  • Subject matter expertise in cancer genomics, oncology and hematology diagnostics to provide strategic medical and scientific input and leadership developing global medical strategies for integrated evidence generation, investigator-initiated studies, research collaborations and medical communications, as well as executing medical activities including advisory boards, scientific symposia, independent or sponsored medical education or training events.

  • Build strong partnerships with medical and patient communities including global thought leaders, investigators, academic networks and professional societies to drive safe adoption of comprehensive genomic profiling solutions while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations and HCP interaction guidelines.

  • Develop and deliver content for timely and effective communication of science and clinical data within and outside the organization in educational programs, publications and congress presentations.

  • Partner across functions, regions, cultures, and time zones to create an environment of belonging and identify mutual value and opportunities for collaborations.

  • Champion patient and customer-centricity in mindset, behaviors and actions by always putting the needs of the patients and customers first.

  • Act in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice including Roche Code of Conduct and other relevant directives and guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with HCP interaction guidelines, handle compliance questions and considerations, complete all required training and specific responsibilities beyond the standard scope of work and oversee appropriate documentation and reporting.

  • Work independently and autonomously, act as coach for colleagues with less experience.

Who you are

You’re someone who wants to advance healthcare globally and influence your own development.   • You have extensive knowledge and expertise in cancer genomics with an advanced degree (MD and/or PhD) in related disciplines, as well as 5+ years of industry experience in oncology and hematology medical affairs or development leading the design and implementation of clinical studies, scientific communication and educational efforts that help tailor treatment to individual patients.

  • You have a deep understanding of molecular-guided therapeutic approaches and clinical practice guidelines, translating genomics and real-world data into clinically relevant actions in complex healthcare ecosystems.

  • You have excellent English oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop medical content and confidently present to diverse audiences while delivering the message with energy, clarity, and impact. 

  • You are proactive and self-directed with a proven track record of leading programs in a global and cross-cultural matrix, strategic decision making, systems thinking, and adaptability to perform in a complex and rapidly evolving environment. 

  • You have a deep understanding of legal and regulatory considerations impacting the healthcare, biopharma and diagnostics industry.

  • You are willing to travel up to 20% nationally or internationally.
