Senior Software Engineer, Front End, Calendar Web

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software product.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the long-term technical roadmap for the Calendar Web platform, identifying opportunities for infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure new features are built sustainably and adhere to the platform's high standards.
• Lead the investigation and mitigation of high-priority incidents and escalations.
• Serve as an expert consultant to other squads and leadership, participating in cross-functional meetings to resolve blockers.
• Contribute directly to high-impact projects making Calendar ready for the artificial intelligence (AI) era.
