In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
As an HR Transformation Consultant / Process Expert, you will play a key role in driving end-to-end HR transformation initiatives, combining strategic thinking with hands-on process expertise.
You will partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders to redesign HR operating models, optimize processes, and implement scalable digital solutions. At the same time, you will act as a trusted HR Business Analyst, translating business needs into structured requirements and ensuring successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
Your work will help organizations modernize HR, enhance employee experience, and unlock efficiencies through data, automation, and AI.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities- Lead and support HR transformation initiatives, including operating model design and service delivery optimization
- Analyze and redesign end-to-end HR processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and AI-driven enhancements across the HR lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using process excellence methodologies
- Define and scale digital HR use cases that enhance service delivery and user experience
- Support implementation and optimization of HR technologies (e.g., HRIS, case management, self-service tools)
- Develop and execute strategies to increase adoption of digital HR solutions
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Translate HR and business needs into clear process designs, user stories, and solution specifications
- Act as a bridge between HR stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Support testing, validation, and rollout of new HR processes and systems
- Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions, and design thinking initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the transformation journey

Required education
Bachelor's DegreeRequired technical and professional expertise
- Experience in HR transformation, operating model design, or HR service delivery optimization
- Strong understanding of core HR processes (e.g., onboarding, talent management, payroll, employee services)
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution translation
- Expertise in process mapping, workflow design, and continuous improvement
- Experience applying AI or automation solutions within HR
- Business fluency in English and German (C1) is required
- Swiss/EU passport or valid work permit required
Preferred technical and professional experience
- HRIS Knowledge: Familiarity with systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
