The Chair of Finance and Financial Economics, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Angelo Ranaldo at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Basel, invites applications for a Research and Teaching Assistant (Hilfsassistent*in).

Your positionYour primary tasks include supporting ongoing research projects in financial economics and assisting in the preparation of teaching materials. The position requires a minimum workload of 20% (approximately 8 hours per week).Your profileYou are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field and have a strong interest in financial economics and research. You possess advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, R, or similar) and are comfortable working with large datasets. You have a solid quantitative background, with coursework in Finance and Econometrics considered an asset. You are reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.We offer you
