Salesforce Architect

We are looking for a Salesforce Architect who will serve as the technical lead in evolving our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge business requirements and technical architecture — defining what we should build, and how to build it well. Working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with our admin and implementation team, you will ensure that our Salesforce solution is both aligned with business goals and engineered with scalability, performance, security, and maintainability in mind.

Your responsibilities

Architectural Leadership

• Design and own the overall Salesforce architecture, including data models, security frameworks, and integration strategies
• Evaluate and implement new solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
• Lead complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to meet business demands
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect and actively contribute to architectural initiatives within projects
• Manage multiple external development teams, ensuring consistent code quality & avoiding conflicting implementations

Data Model & Security

• Design robust data models that support business requirements and ensure data integrity in collaboration with the Data & Analytics team
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive information and comply with regulatory standards

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and integration specifications.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent and compliant Salesforce implementations.
• Govern testing and notifications of upcoming Salesforce releases

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work jointly with business leaders and application manager to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Salesforce Administrators and development teams.

Your profile

• Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience working with Salesforce, including designing and implementing solutions at enterprise scale
• Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
• Extended technical landscape experience of the company (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, ERP...)
• Strong understanding of Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce within the Salesforce ecosystem
• Deep knowledge of developing & overseeing integrations
• Expert in declarative Salesforce features (Flows, Lightning, Platform configuration)
• Solid understanding of programmatic aspects (Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs)
• Experience in data modeling, handling large data volumes, data migrations, and ensuring data accuracy / integrity
• Strong architecture skills: designing scalable, secure, maintainable solutions; familiarity with platform limits, performance, and security best practices
• Experience leading technical decisions, reviewing code/designs, and guiding developers/admins
• Certifications in Salesforce (e.g. Platform Developer, System / Application Architect, other advanced certs) preferred
• Excellent stakeholder communication & ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Good organizational, prioritisation & problem-solving skills
