As part of our Post Trade Processing function, we book and settle transactions conducted both domestically and internationally, monitor open settlements, and manage Swiss registered shares. Additionally, we act as transfer agent for fund providers and undertake further responsibilities within the funds domain. Close collaboration with trading, front colleagues, IT, and other organisational units internally and externally enables the team to continuously improve processes and actively contribute to key projects.YOUR CHALLENGE
As Operations Specialist - Post Trade Processing & Settlement, you will be responsible for:
Day-to-day processing of executed trades and exception handling
Monitoring of global settlement activities for equities, bonds, ETFs, funds, and structured products
Booking of transactions related to mutual funds and transfer agency duties
Liaising heavily with counterparties and custodians worldwide
Identification and management of risk positions in coordination with internal teams and interfaces
Reconciliation of cash and securities positions
Ongoing development and optimisation of internal processes
YOUR PROFILE
Experience in trade processing and/or settlement operations
Solid understanding of financial instruments
Strong awareness of risks relating to trade processing and settlement
Familiarity with SWIFT messaging; experience using GTMatch / GTExchange is a plus
Team-oriented with ability to quickly grasp new concepts
High level of commitment, motivation, and responsibility
Fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and proficient in English (minimum B2 level)
Apprenticeship in banking (or equivalent qualification), and/or several years’ professional experience in securities processing
