Senior Event & Market Manager (temporary - 8 months)

Are you passionate about events and also marketing? For our Private Clients division, we are looking for a Senior Event & Market Manager who will be joining our energetic and diverse team for 8 months.

What would your role be?

• Responsible for the organization of internal and external events, conferences, workshops, webinars - physical, hybrid and digital events (global, national, and regional level)

• First point of entry into the marketing for the Regions

• Market management of all the marketing activities conducted by a certain Market.

• Independent and active support of Vontobel Private Clients Business Units in the detailed planning and realization of events

• Conception and development of new platforms and event formats; collaboration in active customer care, customer retention

• Ensuring smooth communication and information center for all concerned areas

• Coordinate and manage temporary staff, external partners and service providers.

• Responsible for the event technology platforms

• Master the instruments for planning and realization of events.

• Budget Management

• Conducting negotiations with organizers, agencies, suppliers, and partners together with Procurement.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of marketing / event experience and a solid track record in managing the entire event value chain

• Excellent understanding of trends within the industry as well as corresponding marketing approaches

• Proven track record of organizing events on a global scale

• Excellent organizational and project management skills

• Strong communication skills in German and English (language level C2)

• Experience and affinity in digital solutions and technical marketing tools (example Aventri) as well as Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office

• Dedicated team player with high personal integrity and service orientation

• Result oriented critical thinker and problem-solving person

• Self-motivated personality, trustworthy, with hands-on mentality

• Responsible, resilient and adaptable but also organized, reliable and accurate

• Future focused and embracing change to create new opportunities, be innovative, optimize and increase efficient
