Start your career in Quality & Manufacturing
At our Switzerland SE Plant in Horgen, you will join a dynamic team of 7 quality professionals and report directly to the CS&Q Plant Manager.
This role is based on a manufacturing site, with switches, socket outlets and data connectors as our core products.
This position is a great opportunity for a young graduate who wants to develop strong foundations in Quality Assurance, industrial processes and continuous improvement, while working close to production teams.
Your Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet customer expectations, internal standards and regulatory requirements.
You will be a driver of quality and continuous improvement, contributing to reliable processes and high-performing production.
With support from your team and manager, you will progressively gain autonomy and responsibility.
Your Key Missions
You will:
- Ensure products and processes comply with our quality control plans, and that appropriate mitigation actions are in place
- Identify and analyze quality issues (non-conformities, defects, deviations) and support improvement plans
- Anticipate potential quality risks and help implement preventive actions
- Support the resolution of manufacturing quality issues impacting customers, through containment, correction and prevention
- Ensure that operators are properly trained and apply quality instructions correctly
- Track quality KPIs during daily performance meetings and participate in structured problem-solving activities
- Provide evidence that products and services meet customer and contractual requirements
- Share quality results with production teams (reject rates, non-conformities, improvement ideas)
- Contribute to the deployment of quality fundamentals by supporting and driving improvement projects, tools and processes
Education
- Master’s or degree in Engineering (Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or similar)
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience
- Internships, apprenticeships or first professional experience are fully valued
Skills & Mindset
- Fluent English (German or French is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Curious, proactive and solution-oriented
- Agile mindset and willingness to learn and grow
