As a Sr. Manager Reporting Lead supporting our Global Consolidation & Reporting (C&R) team, you will be trusted to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and insightfulness of Alcon’s consolidated financial results. You will play a highly visible and impactful role, partnering closely with senior stakeholders—including the CFO organization—to deliver high‑quality reporting and drive continuous improvement across our global financial processes.

A typical day in this role will include:

  • Collaborating with global finance teams (BPA, Treasury, Tax, FRA Operations) to deliver an accurate and timely month‑end closing deck, ensuring insights, clarity, and strong storytelling for senior leadership
  • Leading assigned sections of month‑end and quarterly reporting calls, presenting key findings and guiding CFO, CAO, and BPA teams through complex financial topics
  • Coordinating and preparing the quarterly Balance Sheet Review process, delivering high‑quality analytics, documentation, and follow‑up actions
  • Supporting external reporting activities, including data flow validation, tie‑outs, analytics, and review of draft external reporting documents
  • Acting as a key point of contact for External Auditors and Financial Assurance, ensuring timely responses, strong collaboration, and high‑quality audit deliverables

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

  • Education:
    • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA / Chartered Accountant strongly preferred
  • Experience:
    • 5–8 years of relevant experience
    • Minimum 3 years in Big 4 or public accounting with strong technical accounting background
    • Experience in global consolidation, financial reporting systems, and multinational environments
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong IFRS knowledge
    • Experience with SAP, Workiva, Blackline, and consolidation/reporting tools
    • Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights and presentations
    • Behaviors & Capabilities:
      • Strong influencing and communication skills, able to engage senior stakeholders
      • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment
      • High attention to detail, strong prioritization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
      • Confident presenter with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and impactfully
