As a management consulting generalist at PwC, you will play a vital role in helping clients optimise their operations, improve performance, and achieve strategic objectives. Your work may include analysing business data, developing strategies, supporting management teams, collaborating across teams, optimising tools and technology, improving organisational performance, monitoring compliance, and/or managing change.

Dein Fokus liegt vor allem auf dem Business-Applikationslayer, insbesondere bei Core- und Digital-Banking-Transformationen, Migrationen sowie weiteren Veränderungsprojekten in der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche. Du berätst das Projektmanagement und die Sponsoren zu fachlichen und organisatorischen Fragestellungen und sorgst dafür, dass die Anforderungen von Business und IT optimal aufeinander abgestimmt werden.

• Du bringst Deine Fähigkeiten in der Beratung von Finanzdienstleistungskunden bei globalen Transformations- und Veränderungsprojekten im Rahmen der Core Banking Services von PwC innerhalb der Strategy & Transformation Plattform in Zürich ein.

• Deine Arbeit erstreckt sich über alle Bereiche der Transformation, einschliesslich der Beratung, Überprüfung und Bewertung aller wichtigen Phasen einer Transformation.

• Du analysierst bestehende Bankprozesse und -systeme, erarbeitest Zielbilder und unterstützt bei der Konzeption von End-to-End-Prozessen und Lösungsarchitekturen im Core- und Digital-Banking-Umfeld.

• Du berätst unsere Kunden bei der Auswahl, Modernisierung und Implementierung von Kernbankensystemen und digitalen Plattformen (z. B. Avaloq, Temenos, Finnova oder vergleichbare Systeme).

• Du managest wichtige Stakeholder und unterstützt bei der Bereitstellung wichtiger Transformationsvorteile, einschliesslich Beratung und Überprüfung der Strategie, des Designs und der Implementierung von Kern- und Digital-Banking-Plattformen.

• Möglicherweise hast Du auch die Möglichkeit, bei M&A-Aktivitäten zu unterstützen, wie z. B. Due-Diligence-Prüfungen in der IT- und Operations, Post-Merger-Integrationen und Carve-outs.

• Du arbeitest in interdisziplinären Teams sowohl intern als auch mit unseren Kunden im In- und Ausland zusammen.

• Du erfüllst Deine Aufgaben in Umfang, Zeit und Budget und hältst Dich an regulatorische und Compliance-Anforderungen für Finanzinstitute.

• Typischerweise bist du 1–3 Tage pro Woche beim Kunden in der Schweiz vor Ort im Einsatz.

• Internationale Einsätze sind je nach Projekt möglich und werden frühzeitig mit dir abgestimmt.

• Ein hybrides Arbeitsmodell (Office / Homeoffice / Kunde) ist bei uns üblich.

Dein Skill Set

• Du sprichst fliessend Deutsch und Englisch und Du verfügst über einen exzellenten Masterabschluss in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Informationstechnologie oder einem angrenzenden Bereich.

• Du verfügst über 3-5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in technologischen Funktionen im Bankensektor, wie z. B. IT-Projektmanagement, Lösungsarchitektur, IT-Geschäftsanalyse, Systemanalyse oder Softwareentwicklung für Finanzinstitute.

• Darüber hinaus hast Du bereits Erfahrungen mit der Modernisierung und Implementierung von Kern- und digitalen Plattformen (z. B. Avaloq, Temenos, Finnova oder ähnliche Kernbankensysteme) gemacht, idealerweise in Transformation und/oder Migrationsprojekten.

• Du hast bereits Erfahrung in Core- und Digital-Banking-Programmen von der ersten Bewertung über das Design & Build, einschliesslich der Planung sowie der Ausführung und Kalibrierung.

• Du kannst Code und Skriptsprachen (SQL, Python, R, .NET) lesen und nutzt dieses Wissen, um Datenmodelle, Schnittstellen, technische Spezifikationen oder einfache Auswertungen nachzuvollziehen. Du bist aber genauso sicher im Umgang mit der Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).

• Du magst es, herausgefordert zu werden und selbstständig mit einem pragmatischen und praxisorientierten Ansatz zu arbeiten, zeichnest Dich aber auch als Teamplayer aus und bist in der Lage, effektiv zusammenzuarbeiten.

• Du verfügst über sehr ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und kannst gut strukturiert arbeiten.
