Your main responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for all processes and people within your production area. You will manage your team to achieve defined targets and will be fully accountable for production performance. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence.
- Ensure department targets for quality, efficiency, and On‑Time Delivery (OTD) are consistently achieved and continuously improved.
- Lead, develop, and support a team consisting of 3 direct reports who coordinate 85 production operators.
- Collaborate closely with material planning, scheduling, quality, and logistics to meet departmental objectives.
- Optimize workflow efficiency and throughput through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Work with key stakeholders to define and implement strategic investments, including new technologies and equipment.
- Develop and implement production strategies aligned with the company’s long‑term vision and objectives.
What you bring
- Technical high school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics.
- At least 5 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a production department.
- Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, THT, AOI, SPI, Soldering, FCT/ICT Testing, Coating).
- Familiarity with IPC standards, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean/Six Sigma practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in Italian and English; German is considered a plus.
