Join our team and support our clients with engagement management and the coordination of complex international tax, payroll and social security matters. Advise on international assignments and tax planning, collaborate globally with our network of specialists, and develop innovative, efficiency-enhancing solutions.
Your contribution to KPMG- Serve as the primary point of contact for advisory projects, ensuring comprehensive client engagement and support.
- Take ownership of a diverse range of processes streams and project tasks, including supporting complex international tax and social security matters.
- Independently manage and coordinate routine inquiries related to tax, payroll, social security, reporting obligations, business travel, and other related topics.
- Prepare and review cost projection calculations for clients and different jurisdictions autonomously.
- Collaborate with experienced specialists to advise multinational companies on structuring cross-border matters and optimizing technology solutions.
- Prepare and facilitate client meetings to discuss the tax implications of international assignments and global mobility policies.
- Liaise with KPMG offices worldwide to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
- Train and mentor new team members, ensuring high quality standards in engagement administration and coordination.
- Help develop tailored tax strategies for multinational clients to efficiently plan global assignments and optimize existing processes.
- Manage client administration processes, covering billing activities, risk management procedures, and annual reporting obligations.
- 5+ years of professional experience in tax advisory, ideally with a focus on individuals and expatriates
- In-depth knowledge of tax and social security regulations in at least one jurisdiction, with a preference for experience across multiple jurisdictions (e.g. Switzerland, US, EU)
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) with a university degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) or other advanced qualifications in tax or social security law
- Fluent in English and preferably in German
- Precise, structured, and results-oriented working style with strong service orientation and affinity for numbers
