Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Transformation Consultant, you will lead complex finance transformation programmes, advising CFOs and senior finance leaders on how to modernise operating models, optimise end‑to‑end finance processes, and deploy digital and AI‑enabled capabilities. You will be accountable for shaping transformation strategies, designing target operating models, leading business cases, orchestrating cross‑functional delivery, and driving measurable performance improvements. You will also contribute to business development, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to strengthen and grow the finance transformation capability within the Consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution, ensuring delivery of measurable value and sustainable outcome
• Advise clients on optimizing Finance operations and end-to-end processes across R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Controls and Compliance processes
• Have a forward-looking perspective on the future of Finance, integrating digital, automation, and AI-driven solution
• Shape and deploy agentic AI solutions that enhance decision-making, forecasting, and operational efficiency in Financ
• Advise clients on finance technology landscapes, including ERP systems, reporting platforms, and digital finance solution
• Design and implement Finance Target Operating Models, including governance structures, roles, and service delivery model
• Support the design and implementation of shared service centres, global business services (GBS), and outsourcing model
• Lead cross-functional initiatives within larger enterprise transformation program
• Develop business cases and financial models to support transformation investment
• Build and maintain relationships with CFOs, finance leaders, transformation and technology stakeholder
• Contribute to business development and proposal development for new transformation engagement
• Contribute to business development by leading proposals and supporting go-to-market initiative
• Manage and mentor junior colleagues, fostering collaboration and professional growth
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across technology, analytics, and change management to deliver holistic transformation programs

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, with a focus on finance transformation or related domains
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes—R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Controls and Compliance
• Proven track record of leading workstreams on client engagements
• Demonstrated experience interacting with senior client stakeholders
• Familiarity with or hands-on experience implementing digital finance solutions
• Deep expertise of AI and automation technologies applied to finance and AI implementation
• Experience with modern finance solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackline, HighRadius, Snowflake, OneStream, Anaplan or Workiva
• Experience with shared service centre transformations or GBS model
• Strong analytical and business case development skills
• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken (at least C1 level)
• Swiss or EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit

Preferred technical and professional experience

• CFA, CPA, ACCA or MBA
• Implementation experience in ERP, best-of-breed, data analytics and cloud-based finance solutions
