Global Senior IT Procurement & Vendor Management Lead

We are looking for a Global Senior IT Procurement & Vendor Management Lead, located in CH-Zürich/Glattpark. The person in this role is accountable for the commercial governance of approximately 400 IT supplier contracts across Europe and the United States. The role ensures contractual, financial, and risk optimization across the IT supplier landscape, supports strategic sourcing initiatives, and leads complex negotiations for IT services, software, cloud, and infrastructure.

Your main tasks:   

• Own and govern a global portfolio of ~400 IT supplier contracts
• Lead contract lifecycle management: drafting, negotiation, renewal, termination, and compliance
• Ensure contracts align with corporate policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection, security, audit rights)
• Lead high-value, complex negotiations with IT suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, SLAs, KPIs, service credits, liability, IP, data protection, and exit clauses
• Lead and support global RFPs / RFIs / RFQs for IT categories (software, cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, managed services, consulting)
• Define sourcing strategies in collaboration with IT, security, legal, and finance

Your background and skills:

• 10+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial vendor management
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field
• You like managing large, international IT contract portfolios
• Experience negotiating complex IT contracts (software licensing, SaaS, cloud, managed services, professional services)
• Experience in leading or supporting global RFPs
• Hands-on experience working with Legal on contract terms and risk mitigation
• Experience in multinational organizations with Europe and US exposure
• Experience with major IT vendors and system integrators is strongly preferred

• Die Wochenarbeitszeit beträgt 40 Stunden, effektiv arbeiten wir pro Tag 12 Minuten mehr. Diese 12 Minuten pro Tag fliessen auf ein spezielles Vorholzeit-Konto. Das ergibt bei 220 Arbeitstagen 44 Stunden Vorholzeit. Damit machen wir zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr die Brücke und schliessen den Betrieb für 5 Tage. Sie brauchen also, wenn Sie das ganze Jahr gearbeitet haben, während diesen Tagen keine Ferien zu beziehen. Die genauen Vorholtage werden jeweils im ersten Quartal für das ganze Jahr festgelegt.
• Die Vorgesetzten können je nach Aufgabengebiet Remotearbeit (Homeoffice) an bis zu 2 Tagen pro Woche erlauben. Montag und Freitag sind immer Anwesenheitstage.

• Sie sind durch die Firma Aebi krankentaggeldversichert. Nach 90 Tagen nach Eintritt (Probezeit) erhalten Sie im Krankheitsfall während 670 Tagen 80 % des letzten Lohns. Die Beiträge werden nicht dem Mitarbeiter abgezogen, die Firma trägt die Kosten komplett.
• Eigene Vorsorgeeinrichtungen: BVG Kasse der Firma Aebi (obligatorischer Teil bis Fr. 88'200.--) und Vorsorgefonds für die Mitarbeiter der Firma Aebi (überobligatorischer Teil bis Fr. 140'000.--). Beim obligatorischen Teil übernimmt die Firma 7/11 der Alterssparbeiträge, die Arbeitnehmenden tragen nur 4/11 der Alterssparbeiträge.
