IT Security Engineer (80-100%)
The Security Engineer designs, implements and manages security solutions, ensuring an effective defense against cyber threats or data theft. Responsibilities include threat detection, vulnerability analysis, handling support tickets, and implementing security controls and related solutions (data leakage prevention, vulnerability management, security hardening, public key infrastructure, secrets management, privileged access management and endpoint security). The security engineer will also educate staff on best practices.
YOUR ROLE
Design, implement, and maintain security solutions
Conduct and/or contribute to security projects
Assess and improve the security hardening of enterprise solutions
Participate in alert and incident response reviews and propose improvement actions
Propose new security solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Develop security workflows and automate recurring tasks
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, incident reports, security requirements
Contribute to enforcing robust security tools and secure coding practices in development
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree computer engineering, security engineering or a relevant field. Master degree is an engineering school is a plus
Sound experience of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and best practices
Strong interest in IT security, continuous learning, secure engineering practices and threat modeling, IT market trends
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 services and hybrid cloud services
Excellent command of automation, scripting, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) principles, common software architecture patterns, networking protocols and technologies
Highly analytical and rigorous, with a solution‑oriented mindset and strong autonomy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Highly versatile and able to adapt to diverse technical contexts
Fluency in English and French
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
