You are part of a cross functional project team developing highly differentiated screw fastening systems and defining technology roadmaps. Your role is to lead the technical development of these products by steering development, testing, external/internal partners and supporting functions to achieve outstanding technical solutions. Also, you shape the technology roadmap and implementation strategy by working closely with the end- customers to understand and define their needs. This fulltime position is available from 1st April 2026. You’ll have the opportunity to travel once or twice a year to visit our innovation and manufacturing partners in Asia.
What You'll do
Incubate, develop, and mature innovative, high performing screw fastening systems. Deep dive into technical systems, analyze and fully understand them, explore alternative solution principles, and translate them into innovative concepts. Step into the shoes of our end customers to identify new opportunities for more efficient, ergonomic, and productive fastening designs. Build a technology strategy and product roadmap that drives results. Set up, motivate, lead, and support the technical team throughout the development process. Work closely with internal and external partners and key stakeholders. Assess the technical maturity and risk profile of the proposed solutions, and bring a proactive, hands on, “can do, will do” attitude to achieve outstanding outcomes. What You’ll Bring
'- Completed university degree (Master, PhD) in mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study- You have fun to develop technical solutions, hands-on mentality, lead technical teams and can promote your work with a good and efficient stakeholder management
- Ideally you have a proven track record in product development and team management skills for at least 2 years
- You are a collaborative team player and a self-confident personality, standing your ground in team and management discussions
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment with a target oriented, proactive, and hands-on mentality
- Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
