Senior Associate (Credit), Stockholm

What it's about

Partners Group is seeking a Senior Associate to join our high-performing and expanding Private Credit investment team in Stockholm. This is an opportunity for you to shape the future of Partners Group’s European mid-market direct lending strategy through the sourcing, due diligence and execution of investment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Investment due diligence including review of diligence reports, interviewing industry experts and attending management meetings
• Financial analysis including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testing
• Preparation of investment memoranda and participation in Investment Committee discussions
• Portfolio management activities including monitoring of portfolio asset performance and assessing waiver and amendment requests
• Build/extend relationships with sponsors, advisors and other external parties

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction services
• A passion for and commitment to investing in mid-market companies
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish and further develop close relationships with industry participants over time
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Team spirit and great communication skills  
• Proficiency in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models
• Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university or equivalent institution
• Swedish speaking
