Intern - Global Finance (m/f/x)

As an intern, you will actively contribute to our finance team by working on challenging projects, assist in the preparation of financial corporate presentations to the Top Management and support with the development and implementation of various aspects of our finance strategy.

The start date for the internship is flexible to the student's availability, duration of at least 6 months is preferred.

What You'll do

At Hilti, we provide diverse internship opportunities in our finance team, tailored to your academic background and professional interests:

If you are interested in Procurement, you will be either working on structural, tactical and operational projects and tasks for the global strategic procurement team or be an integral part of a high-profile team that executes key processes and system programs with direct link to the company strategy.

If your preferences lie in Accounting, Audit & Controlling, you will develop further in finance and analytics skills, be exposed to business stakeholders across the organization from different business areas to global IT and gain a deep understanding on financial closing activities as well as performance analysis.

If your interests lie within Treasury, you will actively contribute to global projects with the focus on Systems & Processes while providing support to internal customers for treasury services.

You will work in a highly motivated team and lead your own projects. This includes independent alignments with stakeholders within the organization, structuring and processing contents, bringing forth, and implementing improvement processes. You will work closely with our experts to develop our way to drive performance excellence in finance at Hilti.

What You’ll Bring

• Preferably enrolled in a master’s program (Finance, Economics, IT or Engineering) for the entire internship duration
• Proficiency in numerical analysis and working with spreadsheets (Excel) linked with an affinity for using or quickly learning IT applications
• Evidence of splitting up projects or assignments into individual tasks, setting deadlines and navigating obstacles to successfully deliver against these deadlines
• Structured thinking and ability to communicate structured thoughts
• Fluent English - written and verbal
