We are seeking to recruit a Business Risk Manager based in Geneva, to strengthen our Latin America (Latam) team.

Your role

Go-to person for AML

•    Guide Front Office at prospection level 
•    Work closely with Bankers at Client onboarding by providing guidance and reviewing KYC
•    Advise Front Office on client lifecycle (e.g. transaction clarification, periodic review)

Fraud, Intermediaries, Market Access & other R&C matters

•    Act as the main point of contact for Latam front-staff and support the resolution of issues
•    Contribute to R&C excellence by monitoring key indicators & supporting RMs and CROs in meeting their Risk & Compliance obligations
•    Provide active support in the annual risk self-assessment of the Zone (RCSA)
•    Act as a key contact for auditors & follow-up on audit recommendations for the Zone
•    Train & educate on R&C matters

Partner with Front Office on Risk & Compliance

•    Report & communicate on risk & compliance matters to the Management of the Zone and PWM R&C
•    Advise Front Office Management and PWM Risk & Compliance functions on how to improve risk & compliance management
•    Keep abreast of regulatory changes and communicate their impact to the Zone
•    Actively contribute to ongoing improvements by sharing knowledge & best practices with the BRM Community

Your profile

•    Minimum 5-7 years of private banking front-line processes experience and/or AML related topics
•    In-depth understanding of the wealth management industry
•    Fluency in French and English, Spanish is a plus
•    Solid understanding of all front-line processes (account openings, client documentation, investment processes, etc) and related regulatory requirements (AML, FATCA, RUBIK, UKRND)
•    Strong interpersonal, relational, and communication skills required
•    Accountable, solutions-oriented and proactive mindset
•    Project management skills
•    Ability to remain independent
•    Swiss residency required
