Your team
Pictet Asset Services provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain, and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.
You will be the main point of contact for acquiring new business. To achieve this, you will need to be able to navigate the Pictet organization and internal business partners, in order to deliver cutting edge solutions, operational excellence and a best-in-class client experience. You have a sound and longstanding network in the EAM community in Deutschschweiz/Ticino and have a proven track record in acquisition.
Your role
• Develop new business and services and solidifying our business partnerships.
• Partner with client relationship managers and foster the relation in a team advising the client.
• Build commercial plans for assigned accounts and present business overviews to internal stakeholders to deliver them.
• Ensure all client information and interactions are correctly input into systems to ensure accurate up to date data and documentation for the benefit of all stakeholders.
• Coordinate client-specific initiatives, preparing multi-stakeholder meetings, presentations and RFPs.
• Build commercial strategies to promote the bank’s full range of services to provide a large array of products, services and investment mandates and capture trading flows.
• Coordinate the onboarding of any new clients, services or assets, negotiate the contractual aspects of the deals and serve as the interface with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure reputational integrity.
• Follow client dashboards and metrics, deliver assigned financial objectives and monitor the book’s profitability.
• Serve as an escalation point for any critical service issues and ensure timely resolution.
Your profile
• University degree in Finance and Business Administration or relevant experience.
• 10 years’ experience in Relationship Management and Business Development within the financial services industry, preferable in the external asset manager segment.
• Bringing an extensive network in the financial industry.
• Excellent understanding of custodian bank services, third-party fund administration and operational flows.
• Superlative interpersonal skills and proven expertise in building partnerships.
• Objective-driven solution provider, keen on growing revenue and share of wallet.
• Strong influencing skills, coupled with the ability to rally multiple business partners towards a common goal.
• Systematic, structured and capable of building realistic business plans.
• Solid understanding of banking systems and CRM tools, as well as a keen focus on data integrity.
• Mother tongue German, fluent in English, French and Italian is an asset.
