Senior Manager - Finance Transformation

KPMG Management Consulting is looking for a Finance Transformation Senior Manager to further develop the client base, service portfolio and help organizations to re-define the way their Finance function operates.

• Acquire and lead Finance engagements with the objective to transform the Finance Target Operating Model, including the technology landscape
• Design and deliver strategies and solutions to improve processes (such as purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, month-end closing), systems and organizational set-ups (e.g. GBS) of Finance functions
• Support our clients in improving the efficiency and quality of their Finance shared service centers, outsourcing contracts, decentralized business units and the strategic partnership of their Finance Business Partners
• Advise our clients in reviewing their Finance technology landscape and provide insights on market leading digital solutions for Finance and the adjacent functions
• Steer cross-functional projects within larger transformation programs and drive proposals for the acquisition of new engagements with national and international clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with Finance leaders (CFOs, SVPs, Transformation Leads) and scout the target market for new opportunities

• Total 7 – 10 years of professional experience from Finance projects within a Consulting firm
• Deep understanding of reorganizations within the Finance function, e.g. KPI benchmarking, business case calculations, design and implementation of Target Operating Models, process optimizations, Finance technology implementation (workflows, reporting etc.), set up of a shared service centers, outsourcing initiatives and governance models
• Knowledge of systems (SAP, Microsoft, Workiva etc.), the respective functionalities for Finance process optimizations and the digital / Artificial Intelligence solutions market
• Proven success in business development; a key success factor for a Senior Manager role within KPMG and career towards Director
• Strong people leadership, analytical, and communication skills for interacting with CFOs and Finance leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a big advantage, French is a plus
• Strong motivation to build your own career as a senior leader and Finance expert within a big four firm
