Technical Business Analyst - Corporate Registers

You will be part of the platform Corporate Tech within our PAM Tech & Operations department. This platform delivers and maintains innovative tech solutions that enhance business processes across product lifecycle management, legal, compliance, finance, business risk monitoring, and company oversight.
The Corporate Registers IT product serves as the primary source of Pictet AM's corporate reference data, enabling swift responses to new business requirements and ensuring superior data quality, accessibility, and seamless system integration. 

Your role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to strengthen our fund administration and distribution operations by analysing, documenting, and improving our golden copy registers throughout the product lifecycle.

Within the Corporate Registers IT product, you will be part of the delivery team as a Technical Business Analyst, responsible for the following activities: 

• Leading and supporting process improvement and automation initiatives (RPA, AI, workflow automation, data integration), including requirements gathering, testing (UAT), implementation, and post-live monitoring.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and maintain clear and transparent communication. This also includes negotiating and finding compromises when conflicting interests arise.
• Analysing and extracting complex data from both non-relational and relational databases, identifying inconsistencies and underlying issues, and proposing suitable solutions using scripts and small programmes (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar). 
• Supporting change management by preparing training materials, conducting workshops, and training operations and distribution teams on new or revised functionalities.
• Participating in day-to-day support by analysing data-related issues and coordinating their resolution.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a technical business analyst role.
• Proficiency with data extraction tools (Python, Swagger, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL) and familiarity with big data and master data management systems.
• Extensive experience in drafting epics and user stories within an agile environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Experience in developing and optimising AI prompts to support business analysis activities is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior management.
• Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written).
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
