Project background
ETH Zurich I Space boosts space activities to establish ETH Zurich as the leading university in space research, education and entrepreneurship within Europe and beyond. Space is a major economic growth area, and strengthening the Swiss space ecosystem has been defined as a strategic priority of ETH Zurich. Particularly in terms of space spin-offs/start-ups ETH Zurich would like to strengthen its profile and ignite inspiration, passion and entrepreneurial energy around it – we need more makers of space tech, and not just people who think about it. We believe that giving students the opportunity to work on real industry projects is essential to foster more entrepreneurial thinking and to encourage them to pursue bold ideas, especially in the space domain.
ETH Zurich | Space plans to launch a student competition for space-related projects. To help us inspire students of all backgrounds to work on such critical space-related challenges, we are looking for a motivated self-starter to join us on a project basis.
