The Pictet Tech division specialises in designing and integrating cutting-edge software applications, including advanced portfolio management systems, sophisticated trading platforms and comprehensive banking and corporate solutions. As a key contributor to the Group’s strategic advancements, the Pictet Tech division plays a vital role in driving transformative innovations that enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
As Pictet’s Digital Assets Product Manager, you will mainly be responsible for defining and delivering a coherent vision and strategy for digital assets (such as cryptocurrencies, tokenised assets, stablecoins, etc.) in line with Pictet’s overall business goals and Ambition 2030. This will encompass not only the custody and trading of cryptocurrencies, but also how Pictet can harness the potential of asset tokenisation across its various business lines. This is a highly visible, client facing, product led role will involve translating strategic goals and client needs into actionable features and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions that align with regulatory requirements. You will report to the Head of Group Technology Strategy and Innovation within Pictet Tech.
Your role
- Defining Pictet’s product vision and strategy for digital assets, including custody, trading and related financial services, as well as asset tokenisation.
- Translating strategic goals and client needs (both institutional and private) into a comprehensive product roadmap for digital asset servicing and tokenisation.
- Taking a Group-level approach to identify synergies across business lines and prioritise roadmaps accordingly.
- Acting as the primary client-facing expert on Pictet’s digital assets offering. Running client meetings to educate attendees and answer questions about our current and future capabilities.
- Working with internal stakeholders from Compliance, Legal, Risk, Infrastructure and the Business to ensure that the proposed product features meet our client needs, and comply with all internal and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing the execution of the roadmap in cooperation with all the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Researching and analysing crypto markets, competitors, emerging trends and promising use cases (e.g. in asset tokenisation).
- Communicating and documenting the product vision, value proposition, and technical/business requirements clearly for our internal stakeholders in the business lines (e.g. relationship managers) and clients.
- Monitoring product performance, collecting user feedback and using analytics to recommend iterative enhancements and drive business growth.
Your profile
- Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Sciences, or professional qualification deemed equivalent.
- At least five years’ experience working in the digital asset sector, demonstrating strategic thinking and thought leadership. Experience in a regulated financial services environment would be a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of cryptocurrencies, DeFi, tokenisation and blockchain architectures as they apply to regulated financial institutions.
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms and build trust with senior clients, relationship managers and investment teams.
- Experience of working within or alongside agile development teams, balancing MVP delivery with secure, compliant product features.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving diverse internal and external stakeholders, including the Partners, clients and service providers.
- Deep knowledge of financial industry requirements, especially Swiss/European banking regulations, digital asset compliance and traditional/core banking processes.
- Analytical and communication skills to turn market research, regulatory analysis and client feedback into practical product enhancements and clear documentation.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Fluent in French and English; knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
