In this versatile role,within the AI CoE you ensure that all AI initiatives are strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and deliver measurable business value. Leveraging your project management experience, you will help drive the implementation and adoption of AI applications across KPMG CH, ensuring alignment with KPMG Group members. You will establish and maintain governance, standards, and performance tracking tailored to AI initiatives, while managing global reporting requirements and supporting the delivery of strategic projects within agreed cost, quality, and timeline parameters.


Your contribution to KPMG

  • Coordinate and manage internal strategic AI projects within the AI CoE, ensuring effective planning, scope, time, and financial management.
  • Support the AI CoE with PMO expertise, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress and reporting, preparing clear and insightful status updates for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan, prepare, and support decision-making meetings, documenting outcomes and follow-ups.
  • Set up, maintain, and continuously update key governance tools, including Risk, Action, Decision, and Issue Logs.
  • Maintain accurate data across project and product management tools, ensuring traceability and transparency.
  • Identify and manage cross-program dependencies, keeping the dependency log up to date.
  • Consolidate and analyze project-related financials, KPIs, and performance data.
  • Collaborate closely with other Operations Analysts/PMOs across the group to define and implement consistent project management standards.
  • Ensure alignment with KPMG Global, including coordination of global reporting cycles and formats.
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing with KPMG UK and other group members to drive consistency and efficiency.

This is what makes you successful

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of professional experience in project management or as a strategic/operational PMO.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled in planning and facilitating workshops and meetings.
  • Experience working with both classic and agile project methodologies.
  • Strong interest in innovation, digital transformation, and AI applications.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
  • Highly structured, organized, and proactive - with a strong drive to deliver results.
  • Familiarity with agile tools and sprint-based working is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Organizational Change Management is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Independent, self-motivated, and reliable team player with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Clear thinker with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
