Job-Inhalt
We are looking for Specialist Logistics Operations to join our logistics team for a temporary assignment. You will be responsible for managing international shipments (Europe & EMEA), working closely with internal partners and external stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
· Create and monitor shipments and related costs (all countries, all Incoterms), using automated variants and site consolidation.
· Handle specific documentation with authorities (CITES, SWISSMEDIC, SCAV…)
· Manage and follow up on urgent/express shipments.
· Create, check, and correct transport documentation and the electronic customs declaration (EDEC).
· Coordinate shipment preparation with internal partners.
· Manage and monitor shipments with freight forwarders and carriers.
· Provide shipment status updates to affiliates and Customer Care.
· Resolve transport-related issues.
· Maintain and update departmental SOPs and procedures (writing, formatting)
· Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization within the transport department.
· Perform other administrative tasks related to transport activities.
Your profile:
· Proven experience in international logistics (ideally EMEA).
· Excellent organizational skills, strong sense of priorities, and stress resilience.
· Rigorous and detail-oriented, especially in customs/transport documentation.
· Ability to work proactively in an international and multicultural environment.
· French and English (spoken and written). Any additional language is a plus.
· Proficiency in SAP and good command of Microsoft Office.
