Postdoc Position (f/m/d)

Thecurrent project is funded by the SNF. The project aims to improve the care ofpatients after stroke and reduce the impact of post-stroke dementia bydeveloping a mechanistic understanding of post-stroke cognitive trajectories.The candidate will analyse individual pre- and post-stroke predictors ofpost-stroke dementia and perform lesion-based analyses including spatial lesioncharacteristics, (dys)connectome, and other lesion-network and imaging-derivedparameters.

• PhD degree or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of neuropsychological studies
• Basic knowledge of (bio)statistics
• Programming skills in MATLAB, R or Python
• Experience in neuroimaging and/or network-based analysis
• Excellent written English skills
• Publication track record
• Advanced programming skills in Python would be advantageous

• Access to a comprehensive database of multimodal clinical, neuroimaging and neuropsychological characteristics
• Integration into the multidisciplinary and experienced research team of the Stroke Research Group Bern
• Participation in meetings and conferences
• Salary according to SNF regulations
