Senior Information Technology Engineer

For an importantclient in the Bellinzona area, we are looking for the following profile:

Responsabilità

The ideal candidatewill be involved in managing the IT infrastructure deployed in a multi-cloud environment.This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep expertise in modern ITarchitectures, supporting both offices and production plants around the world.The candidate will also contribute to the design and architecture of technologicalinnovation across the organization, leveraging their long-term vision toenhance the current IaaS and Cybersecurity capabilities.

• SystemsManagement:  Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of robustand secure IT systems to ensure optimalperformance, scalability, and reliability. Develop and implement best practicesfor system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, with an eye onautomating recurring tasks, security processes, and responding to securityincidents

• SecurityOperations (SecOps):  combine traditionalinfrastructure engineering skills with cybersecurity expertise to secure andmanage the organization's IT infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Multi-CloudManagement:  manage multi-cloud environments,leveraging the strengths of the Azure and on-prem VMware platforms to meetbusiness needs. Ensure seamless integration, interoperability, and efficientresource utilization across public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures
• Collaborationand Communication:  Work closely withstakeholders, understanding business requirements and deliver effective ITsolutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences ina clear and concise manner
• KnowledgeManagement:  promote structured architectural andoperations knowledge and documentation, supporting systems management,troubleshooting, and strategic planning

Il tuo profilo

• In-depth knowledge of ITinfrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, databases, backup, HA/DRstrategies, virtualization technologies
• Strong understanding ofsecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices; NIST/CIS or ISO 27001exposure will be considered a plus
• At least 4 years hands-onexperience in managing and architecting cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Italian and English, any other language is anasset
• Will be considered a plusthe following certifications: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ104) / AnyVMware infrastructure related advanced certification (i.e. VCAP, VCF)
• Familiarity with frameworkssuch as TOGAF, ITIL, or ISO/IEC 42010 is a plus
• Excellent problem-solvingskills and the ability to think strategically
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverseteams
