Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

The mission for Google Commerce is to be an essential part of the shopping journey for consumers - from inspiration to to a simple and secure checkout experience - and the best place for retailers/merchants to connect with consumers. We support and partner with the commerce ecosystem, from large retailers to small local merchants, to give them the tools, technology and scale to thrive in today’s digital world.
Responsibilities
- Implement and take ownership of moderately complex projects or components.
- Design relatively simple components with assistance of TLs but exhibit a strong growth trajectory towards increased independence.
- Unblock releases, monitor production systems, find bottlenecks to optimize performance.
- Support multiple client teams using our infrastructure (e.g., review designs and CLs).
